Oxfam designed PROACT using the FAO integrated Food Security and Humanitarian Phase Classification (IPC) framework as its theory of change (TOC). PROACT project intends to tailor interventions to households needs and would progressively stratify intervention as it helps household maximize gains. PROACT will therefore roll out the interventions that would progressively transition households in IPCs 4 (Humanitarian Emergency) to 3 (Acute Food and Livelihood Crisis) to 2 (Moderately/Borderline Food Insecure) and finally to 1B (Generally Food Secure households).

Oxfam is conducting a tender process within Nigeria and invites your submission of a proposal to provide Oxfam. within their requirements, for a consultant to lead the development of a system to analyze and classify household vulnerability to food insecurity, income and livelihood phases (IPC) and wealth groups using household economy approach taking into account adapted micro economic indicators in Northern Nigeria states of Kebbi and Adamawa. The Consultant will work in close consultation with the Oxfam MELSA Unit, Project and partner staff, Community stakeholders and members to achieve the Household economy assessments in all the PROACT project targeted intervention communities

The expected assignment duration is 27th February-27th March, 2017.

The deadline for submission of tenders is 22nd February 2017 by 5pm in a sealed envelope at Oxfam, 11 Manges Street, Maitama. Abuja.
