01) PREAMBLE:
Abia State University intends to execute her Tetfund 2013, 2014 and 2015 normal intervention Projects in the areas of Construction and Supply/Installation.
02) PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Interested Competent Contractors, who wish to submit to the pre-qualification exercise and bid for any/all of the listed jobs are to provide the MANDATORY under-listed pre-qualification requirements to the undersigned, under one cover.
i. Evidence of Registration
with corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
ii. Tax Clearance Certificates of the Firm for the last three years.
iii. Evidence of PENCOM registration & remittance.
iv. Registration with Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
v. Evidence of compliance with the National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
vi. Evidence of registration on the National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by BPP or a copy of Interim Registration Report (IRR) as evidence of compliance with the requirement.
vii. Evidence of VAT registration & remittance
viii. Evidence of Registration as a contractor with Abia State Government.
ix. Evidence of Registration as a Contractor with Abia State University.
x. Company’s Audited Account for the past three (3) years.
xi. Current evidence of financial capability from the Firm’s Banker(s).
xii. Corporate profile of the Firm, showing technical competence of personnel.
xiii Evidence of performance on similar projects, contract award letters and completion certificates.

SUBMISSION OF TENDERS/BID DOCUMENTS
Interested Bidders are requested to obtain the bid documents from the Director of Physical Planning, office of the Vice-Chancellor on payment of a non-refundable Bid/Tender fees and specified on the table above.
Pre-Qualification and project/job tender documents should be enclosed in separate envelops; dearly marked as appropriate and submitted to the Office of the Registrar, on/before Monday, May 1, 2017.
