EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE YEAR 2017 CAPITAL PROJECT
PREAMBLE:
Following the assenting of the year 2017 Budget by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and in compliance with the procurement acts as being the requirement for the certification of procurement of goods, works and services in the State Ministries, Agencies, and Parastatals, the Ministry of Works, Lands, Housing and Urban Development wishes to invite reputable and competent contractors for prequalification into various listed categories of project under the year 2017 Budget Provision

PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
a. Evidence of Registration
with Corporate Affairs Commission
b. Company audited account for the last three years
c. Evidence of tax clearance certificate for the last three years
d. List of complementary plant and vehicle
e. List of technical and Administrative staff strength with academic/professional qualification and years of cognate experience of key personnel
f. Proportion of expatriate and local staff
g. Evidence of similar jobs earlier carried out in Nigeria over the last three stating cost, location and completion certificate where available.
h. Bank reference from reputable bank indicating financial capability to handle the project.
i. VAT registration certificate and evidence of remittances.
j. Evidence of registration with Kogi State Tenders Board.
k. Evidence of registration with Kogi State Ministry of Works and Housing, Lands & Urban Development.
l. Company’s office address. Phone number(s). Email and website where applicable.
m. Evidence of COREN practicing License.
n. Evidence of compliance with section (6(1) (3) of Amended Acts. No. 19 of 2011 for the last one year.
o. Evidence of compliance of provision of Pension Reform Act.
p. Registration with National Database (Bureau for Public procurement).
SUBMISSION
Submission of application for prequalification must be received in a sealed envelope which will either be delivered by hand or registered mail not later than two (2) weeks from date of this advert.
The prequalification Document shall be forwarded to the address below containing prequalification Document for the class project’s on the top right corner of the envelope.

5. Please, note that participation in the Expression of Interest exercise is not a guarantee for consideration in the tender stage. Interested firms are to also note that only prequalified companies will be invited to tender for the works. The Kogi State Ministry of Works, Lands, Housing and Urban Development reserves the right to accept or reject application.
Successful applicants will be notified of the result, only prequalified companies will be invited to bid.
