KADUNA STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION GIDAN-WAYA
INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL/FINANCIAL QUALIFICATION OF INTERESTED CONTRACTORS/SUPPLIERS
(1.) The Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan-Waya intends to carry out the under-listed civil and goods procurement for year 2017. Interested, experienced, competent and qualified contractors/suppliers are invited to submit pre-qualification (Technical) and Financial Bids for any of the following lots;

| 3 | Procurement of Classroom Furniture | N50,000.00 |
(2.) PRE-QUALIFICATION (TECHNICAL) REQUIREMENTS
The bidders are to submit but not limited to:
a. Evidence of Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
b. Evidence of Company Registration with Kaduna State Public Procurement Authority (PPA) former Tenders Board
c. Evidence of Registration of Business Premises with Kaduna State Ministry of Commerce, Industries, and Tourism
d. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years (2014, 2015, and 2016) with clearly turn over statement
e. Bank draft payable to Kaduna State College of Education Gidan Waya in the sum indicated against each lot applied for
f. List of key personnel in the company employment with their qualification(s) and registration with relevant professional bodies and experiences in execution of similar works
g. Evidence of equipment owned or leased and technology capacity for the works
h. Evidence of verifiable previous completed/on-going works of at least in the last 5 years with adequate details and evidence of awards, valuation certificates, practical completion and/or certificate of making good defects
i. VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances
j. Evidence of financial capability and Banking support
k. Evidence of compliance with PENCOM Act 2004/ITF
l. Letter of Authorization for the college to make enquiry of the any and/or all the documents submitted
The bid requirements MUST be arranged in manner listed herein; a table of content must be provided and the documents paged
(3.) FINANCIAL BID
Interested Bidders are to collect bidding documents from the Office of the Director of Works, Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, from 8;00 am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, from 19th April 2017 to 3rd May, 2017 after showing evidence of payment of non-refundable sum stated against the lot bidding for
All sections of the Financial Bid document MUST be filled in INK; every page of the financial bid must be duly signed by an authorized person for your bid to be complete
(4.) SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Bids are to submitted in envelopes comprising;
i. Pre-qualification (Technical) documents shall be One (1) Original and One (1) copy both in ONE envelope, marked at the top right corner “Pre-qualification Documents”.
ii. Financial Bid shall be One (1) Original and One (1) copy both in ONE envelope, marked “Financial Bid” at the top right corner
iii. These are to be contained in an outer envelope duly marked “Pre-qualification and Financial Bid: Lot… (Title of project)”. The Bidder’s name, address and telephone number should be written on the reverse side of the outer envelope
iv. The outer envelope shall be sealed and addressed to;

The submission should be delivered not later than 12:00 hours Nigerian Time when receipt shall close by May 3rd, 2017. Any bid brought after time stated here shall not be opened
(5.) BID OPENING
All submissions shall be opened immediately after submission deadline in the College Boardroom, Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya. Only pre-qualified bids shall have their financial bids opened in the presence of their representatives, relevant professional bodies, NGOs and the general public interested to witness the exercise
NOTE : Late submissions shall be rejected
The advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya to contact any Company nor shall it entail any firm/company submitting bid to claim any indemnity
The Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya reserves the right to take the final decision on any of the submissions received
