INVITATION TO TENDER

(1) Tenders are hereby invited from suitably qualified, experienced and reputable companies for projects to be executed with the SUBEB/UBEC 2016 intervention fund for the following projects:
(I) CONSTRUCTION OF BLOCKS OF THREE (3) CLASSROOMS
(II) CONSTRUCTION BLOCKS OF WALL FENCE/GATE HOUSE
(III) CONSTRUCTION OF SOLAR POWERED BOREHOLES
(IV) CONSTRUCTION OF BLOCKS OF FOUR (4) UNITS VIP TOILETS
(V) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF TWO (2) CLASSROOMS
(VI) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF TWO (2) CLASSROOMS/OFFICE
(VII) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF THREE (3) CLASSROOMS ‘
(VIII) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF THREE (3) CLASSROOMS/OFFICE
(IX) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF FOUR (4) CLASSROOMS
(X) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF FOUR (4) CLASSROOMS/OFFICE
(XI) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF FIVE (5) CLASSROOMS
(XII) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF SIX (6) CLASSROOMS
(XIII) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF SIX (6) CLASSROOMS/OFFICE
(XIV) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF SIX (6) CLASSROOMS/STORE
(XV) RENOVATION OF BLOCKS OF EIGHT (8) CLASSROOMS
(XVI) RENOVATION BLOCKS OF WALL FENCE/GATE HOUSE
(XVII) CONSTRUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF ECCDE TABLES/CHAIRS
(XVIII) CONSTRUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF PUPILS FURNITURE
(XIX) CONSTRUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF TEACHERS TABLES/CHAIRS.

(2) Tender Application Forms and Documents are to be collected from

The Secretary
SUBEB Tenders Board
State Universal Basic Education Board
Asaba.

(3) ALL TENDERS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE FOLLOWING:
(I) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
(II) Evidence of Registration with the Delta State Government;
(III) Current Tax Clearance Certificate;
(IV) Verifiable contact address of Business Office(s) premises, Utilities bill etc;
(V) Evidence of Payment of N20.000.00 Tender fee for Projects i-xv and N30.000.00 for Projects xvi-xix;
(VI) Evidence of Professional/Technical qualification;
(VII) Evidence of financial capability (Bank Statement and Audited Accounts for last 3 years);
(VIII) Evidence of previous similar jobs successfully executed;
(IX) Memorandum/Articles of Association where applicable;
(X) Evidence of payment of a non-refundable deposit of N40.000.00 for the project in bank Draft in favour of State Universal Basic Education Board, Asaba for processing and technical analysis of tender documents.

(4) Tenderers are advised to visit and inspect the Projects site before tendering.

(5) All tender documents together with the completed Blank Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q.) should be returned not later than close of work on 29th, September 2017, in wax-sealed envelope addressed and delivered to:

(6) The Project title should be clearly marked at top left corner of the envelope.

(7) Tenderers should know that the Board is not constrained to accept the lowest bidder.

(8) Tender will be opened on 10th October, 2017, in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.
